Our Pastor
Reverend Giuseppe Mattei was ordained on September 17, 1988 in Naples, Italy. He married his wife Stephanie at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Italy in Florence on September 19, 1993. He and Stephanie have three children: two boys, Giacomo and Simone, and one girl, Desiree. They also have three cats, a turtle and a goldfish.
Pastor Giuseppe affirms the importance of enjoying and celebrating the inter-connectedness with God, other people and the rest of creation every day.
Pastor Giuseppe has served congregations in Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. He has received special training in the field of leadership, listening skills and as a mediator. He also enjoys digging deeper in the culture and customs of the people of the Bible.
Pastor Giuseppe has a passion for photography, history and geography, books, walking and riding the bike. He and his family are also vegetarians!
